Inspect and assess welding quality and strength against approved procedures, client specifications, applicable codes, standards and drawings; verify materials against drawings, cutting plans and QC reports; perform visual and fit-up inspections; maintain reports; raise NCRs for non-compliance; ensure HSE compliance and support project quality activities.
Requirements
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or expertise in steelworks and piping; basic conventional NDT knowledge preferred; experience with QC documentation, material traceability and weld traceability records.
06WorkshopCNC Machine Center Programmer
Role responsibilities
Perform CAD/CAM programming using ZW3D and SolidWorks; analyse designs and define machining sequences; troubleshoot programs and tooling; select tooling and design fixtures; improve setup times, cycle times and complex-shape contouring; prepare process sheets; apply laser-cutting technology; design tools, jigs and fixtures.
Requirements
Nitec or Diploma in Precision Engineering preferred; knowledge of electronics and machine tools; experience with Fanuc CNC controls; minimum 3 years of CNC machine operator experience.
07EngineeringPrecision Design Engineer
Role responsibilities
Review blueprints, standard detail drawings and reports; support production through process qualification, productivity improvement and tool release; troubleshoot complex process issues and perform root-cause analysis; develop or modify process methods; optimise yield and quality; prepare quotations; manage product drawings, materials and quality specifications with engineering, QC, production and customers.
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Precision Engineering preferred; minimum 3 years of relevant process-engineering experience; familiarity with ZW3D or SolidWorks CAD/CAM; knowledge of engineering tools, process control and root-cause analysis; programming experience.
08WorkshopCNC Operator / Machinist
Role responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts; calculate requirements using basic mathematics, geometry and trigonometry; interpret work orders, blueprints, materials, specifications, dimensions and tolerances; inspect completed units; perform troubleshooting and machine maintenance.
Requirements
Minimum Secondary, ITE-NTEC, Diploma or Degree in PE, ME, Manufacturing, Mechatronics or a related discipline; up to 2 years of CNC milling-centre setup and operating experience preferred; able to interpret technical drawings and apply machining knowledge.
09WorkshopOn-Site Machinist
Role responsibilities
Perform on-site machining, flange facing, X-Y milling, boring and drilling; carry out in-situ machining on crankpins and shafts; operate and set up workshop lathes, milling, drilling and boring machines; line-bore engine main-bearing pockets with laser alignment and flatness checks; interpret customer drawings and tolerances; manage yard meetings, permits, gate passes and safety inductions.
Requirements
At least an ITE certificate or O-Level; at least 2 years of related experience; able to travel overseas; marine shipyard experience preferred.
10Workshop6G Welder (GTAW / TIG)
Role responsibilities
Fabricate according to drawings or instructions; operate welding equipment and measuring tools; perform GTAW, TIG and MIG welding; perform high-pressure welding for large pipes; support other tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Requirements
Minimum GCE N-Levels and above; welding certification is an advantage; at least 1–2 years of TIG, MIG or 6G welding experience.
11WorkshopPipe-Fitter
Role responsibilities
Cut, thread, bend and assemble pipes; prepare, fabricate, lay out, fit, position and assemble piping components; bolt, clamp and tack-weld parts for welding; measure pipe routings; assemble and install carbon-steel and stainless-steel pipe systems; install hangers, supports and hydraulic cylinders.
Requirements
Minimum GCE N-Levels and above; at least 3 years of relevant experience.
12OperationsDriver
Role responsibilities
Drive a 14-foot lorry; fetch and send workers from dormitories to worksites; purchase and collect materials from suppliers or warehouses; deliver materials and equipment to sites; assist with loading and unloading; maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform other assigned tasks.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience and familiarity with Singapore routes; Class 3 or 4 licence with a good driving record; physically fit, willing to work overtime and preferably holding a forklift licence.
